MOUNT PLEASANT — If you’re craving a taste of Vietnam, there’s a new spot in town that is sure to hit the spot! Pho Lucky & Boba Tea has recently opened its doors at 1145 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard, Suite 103, in the space that was previously home to Asian Flavor. This family-owned restaurant brings a delightful array of Vietnamese dishes and boba tea, creating the perfect place for both quick bites and leisurely meals.
This new gem is the brainchild of Tin Pham and his wife Trang, who are passionate about sharing their culinary heritage. The couple, who originally hails from Vietnam, previously lived in Seattle before making their way to Charleston. Drawing from their diverse experiences, Pho Lucky & Boba Tea offers a rich menu featuring various traditional Vietnamese dishes. You’ll find scrumptious options like bun thit nuong (vermicelli noodles), bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup), dumplings, summer rolls, and of course, the much-loved pho.
What’s a Vietnamese restaurant without pho, right? Pho Lucky & Boba Tea prides itself on its authentic pho, which, according to Tin, is a staple dish back in Vietnam. “It’s like eating a hamburger here in the U.S.,” he shared. Each bowl of pho is a labor of love, taking about four hours to prepare. However, once the meal is ready, you can enjoy it in just a few minutes! This makes it a perfect quick bite for those on the go, allowing you to savor a fulfilling meal without taking too much time out of your day.
While pho might steal the spotlight, don’t overlook the other tantalizing offerings on the menu. Pho Lucky & Boba Tea features items that represent northern, southern, and central Vietnamese cuisine, which means there’s something for every palate. Whether you’re in the mood for crispy summer rolls or a delicious bowl of hot stone bowl pho, you’re sure to leave satisfied.
As the doors opened on September 25, 2024, patrons started flooding in to experience the warm atmosphere and friendly service. The restaurant’s design is cozy, making it an inviting place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. You can also indulge in their refreshing boba tea, a great way to wash down all that tasty food.
Pho Lucky & Boba Tea is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, giving you plenty of time to stop by and satisfy your cravings. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch during your workday or a family dinner, you’ll find a delicious menu awaiting you.
