TTS Studios Expands Operations in North Charleston: A Boost for New York Theater Sector

TTS Studios, North Charleston-based Creator for the New York Theater, to Invest and Expand its Operations

Plans are underway for a major investment and expansion project by TTS Studios, a North Charleston firm that produces technical designs and custom fabrications for New York theater and other high-profile clients. The Charleston County-based company expects to invest a total of $845,000 in its operations, expected to create 14 new jobs to cater to its growing demand.

Established in 2016, TTS Studios has gained a reputation for supporting and enhancing creative visions through its custom-designed and fabricated products, which resonate across the performing arts, premium events, and experiential marketing industries.

Relocation to New Premises in Navy Yard Industrial Campus

The company recently transferred operations to a newly acquired 67,000 square-foot site at 2130 N. Hobson Ave., located in the Navy Yard Industrial Campus, part of the Charleston Marine Manufacturing Corp’s facilities in North Charleston. This move signifies the company’s commitment to the local business community and positions it for an ambitious phase of growth.

In a recent press release, TTS Studios President Mike East expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming developments. He cited the company’s solid partnerships with Spoleto Festival USA, High Water, among other Charleston-based artists. The booming creative community, coupled with an expanded business model, enhances the company’s potential to grow within Charleston.
