A North Charleston custom fabrication company, TTS Studios, has announced its plans for expansion with an investment of $845,000, resulting in 14 additional jobs in the region. The company, recognized for crafting custom fabrications for a range of industries, recently relocated to a 67,000-square-foot facility on North Hobson Avenue in the Navy Yard Industrial Campus.
TTS Studios’ growth and investment indicate the company’s belief in Charleston’s potential and favorable business climate. The expansion also contributes to job creation and economic progress in the county. Their expansion amplifies Charleston as a thriving hub for inventive businesses and artistic projects.
North Charleston’s Mayor, Reggie Burgess, expressed his support and pride for the innovative company’s expansion. “North Charleston is proud to support TTS Studios’ expansion, showcasing our city as a destination for innovative businesses and creative endeavors,” he commented, highlighting the positive economic impact the expansion will have on the city.
TTS Studios’ President, Mike East, expressed appreciativeness to the city. “Our new facility, expanded business model, and the truly incredible creative community here makes it nearly impossible to imagine operating TTS Studios anywhere other than Charleston.” East further explained. “While much of our theatrical work is New York-based, projects with Spoleto Festival USA, High Water, Charleston-based artists and our developing brand partnerships solidify our roots here.”
Since 2016, TTS Studios has been designing and creating customized fabrications for the premium events and performing arts sectors. Their work has been recognized and appreciated in diverse industries, further enhancing Charleston’s reputation as a creative and innovative business hub.
