Hey there, Summerville residents! If you’re in the neighborhood, you might want to keep your eyes peeled for something that’s gone missing. A stolen trailer case has just hit the news, causing quite a stir in our cozy little town.
It all went down early in the morning on November 18th, just after the clock struck 4 a.m. Officers with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 2023 Patriot Cargo trailer was taken from near Berry Patch Circle. Now, you know how trusted our neighborhood is, right? So, it’s a real shock to see such incidents happen. It just goes to show that crime can happen anywhere!
So, what’s the trailer like? Well, this beauty is a 6×12 enclosed single-axle trailer, showcasing a sleek two-tone paint job in black and silver. It even features diamond plate aluminum trim which gives it a stylish edge. And get this; it’s got both side and rear drop-down doors for easy access! It’s not just any old trailer; it’s a real catch for someone in need of extra storage or work equipment.
Now, when it comes to the sticky-fingered suspect, things get a bit tricky. During the heist, the surveillance footage captured a full-size pickup truck, but that’s about all that could be seen thanks to the grainy quality of the video. Unfortunately, without more identifying features, the search is proving to be a bit of a tougher nut to crack!
If you happen to have any information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen trailer, don’t hesitate to reach out! The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating and would love to hear from anyone who might know something. You can contact Detective Michael Thompson directly at his desk by calling (843) 554-2471 or on his cell at (843) 830-3332. Prefer electronic communication? Fire over an email to methompson@charlestoncounty.org. Every little bit can help!
It’s essential for us as a community to stay alert. Our neighborhoods are supposed to feel safe and sound, yet incidents like this can put a dampener on our peace of mind. Everyone loves a friendly neighborhood, so let’s band together to look out for one another. Keep your eyes on your own property, watch out for your neighbor’s things, and perhaps take an extra moment to report any suspicious activity.
As we love to say in Summerville, we’re better together! Let’s hope that the missing trailer is recovered quickly and safely. If we all keep our eyes peeled and stay connected, we can help ensure that our community stays a great place to live. So, keep those smartphones ready to snap pics if you spot something odd; you might just be the key to cracking this case wide open!
Stay safe out there, folks, and keep your trailers locked up tight!
