Sioux Falls, S.D. — The Southern Illinois University (SIU) Men’s Basketball team faced a tough start to their season, falling to the College of Charleston by a final score of 90-80 on Monday afternoon. This game took place at the Sanford Pentagon as part of the Field of 68 Opening Day Showcase.
Senior guard Elijah Elliott put on an impressive performance, leading the Salukis with 23 points. He made 9 out of 14 shots, demonstrating his scoring ability and efficiency on the court.
