The North Charleston Police Department says they received reports of shots fired near North Charleston High School Saturday evening.

Police say several fights broke out at Slam Fest 2024. A spokesperson for the department says the scene is under control and no injuries were reported. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – The North Charleston Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred near North Charleston High School on Saturday evening.

According to reports from the department, shots were fired in the vicinity during Slam Fest 2024, leading to multiple altercations.

No injuries have been reported, and officials have assured the public that the situation is under control.

The NCPD is actively working on the case, and more information is expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
