Charleston, the historic South Carolina city, will host a pre-publication book launch for The Jerusalem Files: The Secret Journey of the Menorah to Oak Island, authored by Corjan Mol and Christopher Morford. The event, taking place at Buxton Books on King Street, is set to occur on February 12, 2024, one day before the official publication date.
Corjan Mol, a Dutch entrepreneur and historical researcher, is no stranger to the limelight, having featured in several television documentaries including the BBC’s Forbidden History series. Mol is a recurring cast member on the popular TV series “The Curse of Oak Island”.
His co-author, Christopher Morford, is a 32nd degree Freemason, Gnostic Bishop, entrepreneur, and occult historian hailing from South Carolina. Morford appeared as a featured theorist on “The Curse of Oak Island” in its 7th and 8th season.
The duo has teamed to offer an engaging and methodical exploration of historical facts overlayed on a modern treasure hunt narrative, sure to captivate fans of historical mysteries and artifacts.
The book titled “The Jerusalem Files: The Secret Journey of the Menorah to Oak Island” traces the voyage of the legendary Jewish Menorah. The menorah, a seven-armed, man-sized lampstand made from a single block of gold, is an iconic symbol of the Jewish people.
Through painstaking research and some incredible serendipity, Mol and Morford have traced its journey from being housed in the inner sanctum of the Temple of Jerusalem, through France and Portugal’s corridors of power, to its final destination in North America, with the intervention of American founding fathers Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington.
The Pre-Publication Book Launch event promises to be an enthralling engagement. Besides discussing intriguing passages from their book, Mol and Morford will entertain audience queries and personalize books. Early bird visitors might secure some cherished copies, given the event’s expected popularity.
It must be noted that outside books are not permitted at the Buxton Books event. Attendees looking forward to an evening of historical intrigue and mystery are advised to purchase their tickets in advance due to a potentially high turnout.
The book will officially hit the market on February 13, 2024, the following day proceeding its pre-launch event scheduled on February 12, 2024. Charleston, being a significant hub for history buffs, and the home base for Landmark Histories is thrilled to host this unique event.
As an enriching blend of historical revelation, puzzling artifact, and modern treasure hunt, The Jerusalem Files: The Secret Journey of the Menorah to Oak Island is set to be a compelling read for fans of ‘Curse of Oak Island’ and patrons of historical non-fiction alike.
