Hey there, music lovers! If you’re located in or near North Charleston, you are in for a real treat. On October 11 and 12, Riverfront Park will transform into a lively hub filled with country tunes, fun, and tons of great vibes during the highly anticipated Riverfront Revival music festival.
Described as a love letter to country music and the Lowcountry, this festival is gearing up to be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Gates will open at 4 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. on Saturday, with music kicking off Friday from 5-11 p.m. and Saturday from 1-11 p.m..
You can expect an amazing mix of local talent and bigger names at Riverfront Revival this year. The lineup features incredible artists like Sister Hazel, Arrested Development, Jamey Johnson, and the ever-popular Collective Soul. However, the main event that everyone is buzzing about is Hootie & the Blowfish, a two-time GRAMMY Award-winning band that originated right here in South Carolina!
Planning on attending? Great choice! To help streamline your experience, there are two dedicated pick-up and drop-off locations at the park for your convenience. If you’re driving, keep in mind that public accessible parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis near the corner of Navy Way and Everglades Avenue.
Before you head out, make sure you’ve got everything you need for a fantastic day. A few must-haves include:
The festival is designed to be family-friendly, and children 10 years and younger will be allowed to join the fun for free when accompanied by a 21+ ticket-holding adult. Just a heads up, there is a limit of two kids per adult, so plan accordingly!
If you haven’t snagged your tickets yet, don’t worry! There are still options available, with one-day general admission tickets starting at just $115. If you can’t get enough, grab the two-day VIP tickets, which start at around $600. Those with two-day passes will even have the opportunity to re-enter the festival.
One of the most delightful aspects of attending the Riverfront Revival is knowing that a portion of each ticket sold goes towards great causes. The funds will benefit the Arts in Healing Program at the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, along with Just be You, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping teens develop confidence, self-love, and self-compassion.
So, what are you waiting for? Let’s pack those blankets, lather up with sunscreen, and get ready for an awesome weekend filled with heartwarming melodies and community spirit. See you at Riverfront Revival!
