The robbery occurred at the Walmart situated in the 9800 block of Dorchester Road, according to the police officials. A North Charleston Police spokesperson Harve Jacobs relayed that an unidentified man made his way to the money center within the store, where he displayed a note to an employee manning the station.
Following the display of the note, the worker opened a drawer, at which point the suspect jumped the counter. The man swiftly grabbed the cash available and promptly left the store premises. The amount of money taken in the burglary has not been disclosed by authorities.
While the local police force has kicked off a thorough investigation into the incident, officials have yet to uncover more evidence for a comprehensive description of the suspect. Details like age, height, physical characteristics or clothing description to help identify the man are currently unknown.
