In a recent development, North Charleston Police have confirmed the arrest of a male individual in association with a gas station robbery that occurred on Friday afternoon. The accused, identified as Shiloh Allen Bradley, 38, is facing charges of armed robbery as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The robbery took place at an Exxon station located in the 5700 block of Dorchester Road, with police responding to reports of the incident shortly after 1 p.m. According to the details provided by the police spokesperson, Harve Jacobs, the suspect is reported to have brandished a firearm at the clerk, demanding cash from the register and multiple cartons of cigarettes.
The suspect was successful in this endeavor, managing to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. Jacobs, later reported, investigators were able to track a vehicle used in the crime, which had been reported as stolen, to Bradley’s residence. However, Bradley was not found at the location. He was later detained in the vicinity of Rivers Avenue and Mall Drive.
In a fortunate turn of events, no injuries have been reported in association with the incident. Following his arrest, Bradley has been placed in detention at the Al Cannon Detention Center. The charges relate to the violent crime of armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of said crime.
