In a somber turn of events, La Nortena Mexican Grill in North Charleston, a community cherished eatery, has announced its closure. After 21 memorable years of service, the esteemed restaurant is shutting its doors for the last time on Sunday, June 30th.

They wrote, “Charleston, thank you for 21 amazing years together! From our humble beginnings on Remount Road to our move to Rivers Avenue, your support has meant everything to us. We owe a huge thanks to our loyal employees; without their dedication, we wouldn’t have been able to stay open for so long. We cherish the love you’ve shown us over the years, and our journey will continue until June 30th with our hours remaining unchanged:

- Tuesday – Thursday: 11am – 8pm
- Friday – Saturday: 11am – 9pm
- Sunday: 11am – 7pm
