College of Charleston celebrated a memorable victory as they defeated Northeastern 18-5 in a thrilling evening game to even the series at a game apiece. The win was made even sweeter as the Cougars’ pitcher, Jake Brink, celebrated his 21st birthday with a stellar performance on the mound.

On his special day, Brink delivered an impressive five-inning performance, allowing only one earned run on four hits while striking out five batters. His outstanding outing helped the Cougars secure the crucial win and stay in contention for a top spot in the conference standings.
