CHARLESTON, S.C. – Two-time All-CAA selection Cole Mathis has been invited to the 2024 Major League Baseball Draft Combine, which will be held June 18-23 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz.

This marks the fourth year of the MLB Combine, which features batting practice and infield and outfield drills on the field, as well as in-person meetings with Major League teams, athletic testing, and medical evaluations. The on-field drills for the 319 participants will be televised by MLB Network from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mathis is one of seven CAA players participating. An All-CAA first team selection this past season, Mathis batted .335 with 14 homers, 57 RBI’s, and 14 stolen bases for the Cougars.
