Haunted Attraction to Debut in Charleston, Holy City Halloween in Search of Talent

For the first time in over a quarter of a century, the city of Charleston will play host to a haunted Halloween attraction. The event, appropriately dubbed ‘Holy City Halloween,’ is set to commence this year, event organizers announced on August 12, 2024. The announcement further noted that the city’s downtown area would serve as the venue for the eagerly-awaited Halloween event.

Casting Call and Ticket Promo Kicks Off

As prelude to the event, interested parties can enjoy a limited time promotion offer on ticket purchases starting Tuesday, August 13th. This promotion, available for a sole 48 hours, allows for a $5 discount on tickets when the promo code “launch” is used during the checkout process.

Parallel to the ticket promotion, Holy City Halloween is also launching a casting call. The organizers are keen to attract talented performers possessing skills suitable for participation in this haunted attraction. Among the desired talents include scare, juggle, and acrobatics skills. These performers are tasked with playing the eerie and unique roles that define the scary theme of Halloween.

Sessions for Casting Call

Casting directors from major cities including Los Angeles, Nashville, and New York, will be in Charleston to aid in the selection process to breathe life into this one-of-a-kind attraction.

In addition to performers, there is also a casting call for skilled makeup artists. These artists will be entrusted with the vital task of transforming the cast into an assortment of ghosts, goblins, and other gruesome creatures set to dazzle the audience.

Those keen to showcase their talents and be part of the Holy City Halloween attraction are instructed to turn up for auditions scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 17th and 18th. The auditions will run from 12 pm to 3 pm at 34 Woolfe Street.

Holy City Halloween: A New Chapter in Charleston’s Entertainment Scene
