In a crucial step forward for infrastructure development in the Carolinas, HNTB Corporation, a leading infrastructure solutions firm, has announced the opening of a new office in North Charleston. The new office is located at the Garco Park development near Park Circle at 4922 O’Hear Avenue, Suite 203.

To commemorate the opening of the new Charleston-area office, HNTB hosted an open house which witnessed the participation of employees, clients, partners, local small businesses – including partner Minority/Women Business Enterprises and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises – and local officials. Among the attendees were North Charleston Mayor Reggie Burgess, Hanahan Mayor Christy Rainwater, and Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments Executive Director Ron Mitchum, along with members of local councils.
During the open house, Mayor Burgess praised HNTB for its dedication to the local community and expressed his anticipation for future infrastructure improvements. Spencer Franklin, PE, HNTB’s Carolina’s office leader and senior vice president, outlined the company’s commitment to the region’s growth and prosperity, and its eagerness to engage in discussions to enhance the community through significant projects and collaborations.
