Goose Creek Celebrates a Legend: Dennis Harmon Honored with Key to the City

Former City Administrator Dennis Harmon received the coveted Goose Creek Key to the City, a symbolic gesture reflecting decades of dedicated service and commitment to the city.

The occasion was made even more special with the unveiling of a brand new pavilion at the Crowfield Golf Club, which has been named in Harmon’s honor. Attending the ceremony were current and former city officials, regional dignitaries, and state leaders, all there to show their appreciation for Harmon’s tireless work since he first joined the city in 1978. Mayor Gregory Habib, who presented the key, emphasized just how important this recognition was, stating, “It’s important to me that Dennis knows how much we care about him, and how much he means to the City.”
