North Charleston Charter School Embraces New Tradition with Enchanted Forest Prom

North Charleston, S.C. – Allegro Charter School of Music in North Charleston is gearing up to make their students’ prom night a magical and memorable experience with a unique theme: the Enchanted Forest. The school, which recently moved into a new building in the Park Circle area, is hoping to start a new tradition by hosting a prom at the Park Circle Community Center.

Creating Lasting Memories

Skyla Sale, a teacher at Allegro Charter School of Music, is leading the charge to ensure that every student at the school feels welcomed and included at the upcoming prom. Sale, who has been with the school for four years and currently serves as the academic dean, is dedicated to making sure that the students have a magical experience without financial barriers.

Prior to the move, the school was renting a building on Dorchester Road, but now they have their own classrooms and the freedom to decorate and shape the school’s environment. With the growth of the school picking back up after pandemic disruptions, Sale and school leaders are excited to introduce new traditions like the Enchanted Forest prom.

Supporting the Cause

To make the Enchanted Forest theme come alive, Sale and her performing arts students are welcoming donations from those who want to support their cause. Anyone interested in becoming a Classroom Champion and helping make the prom a magical event can donate through the school’s website. All contributions are tax-deductible and go directly towards creating an unforgettable experience for the students.

As Allegro Charter School of Music prepares for this special event, they are grateful for the Park Circle community’s warm reception and look forward to celebrating with their students at the Enchanted Forest prom.
