Djordje Curcic has officially signed a National Letter of Intent with the College of Charleston men’s basketball team, as announced by head coach Chris Mack. Curcic, who hails from Serbia, spent the previous season at St. Louis and will reunite with current Cougars assistant coach Chris Harriman.
During his time at St. Louis, Curcic showcased his skills in 18 games, averaging 2.9 points per game. He also boasted impressive shooting percentages, with 53% from the field and 43% from beyond the arc. Before his stint at St. Louis, Curcic played a pivotal role in Serbia’s success on the international stage. He contributed significantly to Serbia’s bronze medal finish in the FIBA U18 European Challengers, where he averaged 12.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists. Additionally, Curcic represented his country at the 2023 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup in Hungary, helping Serbia secure a sixth-place finish with an average of 5.8 points per game.
