Cougars Begin Road Trip at Hofstra

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The College of Charleston women’s basketball team is set to kick off their weekend road trip in Hempstead, NY, where they will take on the Hofstra Pride on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. The Cougars are coming off an impressive 97-58 road victory against UNCW, where five players reached double figures in scoring. Charleston is currently on a hot streak, having won three straight games and six of their past seven.

Jenna Annecchiarico had a standout performance in the last game, leading the Cougars with 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting. She also contributed six rebounds, five steals, and four assists. Annecchiarico has been a key player for Charleston this season, with this game marking her eighth 20-point performance.
