Charleston is seeking its fourth winning streak of at least five games this season. The team is 22 games over .500 for the first time since 2015 when they made their most recent NCAA Tournament appearance.

With a win over the Bulldogs, Charleston will have their second stretch of 20 wins in 22 games in program history. The Cougars are coming off a two-game sweep at Towson with the series finale canceled due to rain and field conditions.

Charleston hit nine home runs and scored 25 runs against the Tigers and are averaging 9.7 runs over the past 21 games.

Series History

Charleston holds a 59-42 lead in the series against The Citadel and has won 21 of the past 22 meetings, including a 5-4 victory at Riley Park two weeks ago. The Cougars rallied from a 3-0 deficit with Emmett Bice allowing only two hits in 3.2 innings to earn the win.
