New Contemporary Steakhouse Marbled & Fin Opens in Downtown Charleston

New Contemporary Steakhouse Marbled & Fin Opens in Downtown Charleston

Marbled & Fin, the newest restaurant unveiled by the Neighborhood Dining Group, has now proudly opened its doors to the Charleston audience. Located at 480 E. Bay St., just a few blocks off the bustling King Street, the establishment aims to revolutionize the traditional steakhouse experience by adopting an ambitious approach to the classic menu.

The Neighborhood Dining Group, highly commended for their other ventures including Husk, Delaney Oyster House, Minero, and The James, officially inaugurated the Marbled & Fin on June 12, 2024.

Seafood and More on the Menu

Apart from the steaks, Marbled & Fin offers a wealth of seafood including varieties of fish, crab, lobster, oysters, and even caviar on its menu. The landmark “signature offering” of Marbled & Fin is a spectacular ‘surf-and-turf for two’ which features a mouthwatering spread of a 28-ounce dry-aged prime porterhouse steak, a whole lobster, Robuchon potato purée, and jumbo asparagus.

Impeccable Selection of Wines and Cocktails

Complementing the extensive menu, Marbled & Fin boasts a diverse spectrum of over 250 wine labels. The restaurant also offers an alluring selection of signature cocktails conceived by Kevin King, the Project Developer at NDG. Taking inspiration from classic cocktails and cultural nuances, King infuses exuberance and fun into his concoctions along with a unique take on presentation techniques.

Interior Design Impresses with a Blend of Modern and Classic

The interior design of Marbled & Fin, executed by MB Within Interior Design company, seamlessly blends modern and classic elements to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Its aesthetic includes custom furniture, bold brass light fixtures, and an abundance of greenery, including an impressive wall of Birds of Paradise planted within the wood floor. This new dining spot offers seating for 150 people, including 26 dedicated bar seats.

David Howard, the president of The Neighborhood Dining Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the new venture by stating, “We’ve been operating restaurants in downtown Charleston since NDG was born over two decades ago, and we’re excited to be bringing something entirely new to the place and people that have supported us all these years. Marbled & Fin has pushed us to think beyond what a traditional steakhouse can be, and our team is ready to showcase the passion (and fun!) we’ve poured into this concept.”

Marbled & Fin: A New Chapter in Dining at Charleston

A fresh addition to the Charleston food scene, Marbled & Fin promises to offer an elevated dining experience which goes beyond the conventional steakhouse concept. With its diverse menu, impressive wine, and cocktail collection, and awe-inducing interiors, this upscale restaurant seems all set to delight the palates of locals and tourists alike.
