Traffic Advisory: High School Students Join Excitement at College of Charleston!

What to Expect:

Starting at 8:30 a.m. and lasting until around 2 p.m., over 4,000 high school and middle school students will be descending on the arena for a special event—it’s not just any ordinary day. These eager students are gearing up for the College of Charleston Women’s Basketball game, which is scheduled to tip-off at 11:30 a.m.. Can you feel the excitement?

Getting There:

As the buses roll in to unload students at the TD Arena, one lane in front of the venue will be closed off to accommodate the influx of energetic youngsters. So, if you’re driving in the area, be prepared for some delays and plan your trip accordingly. The buses will start arriving as early as 8:30 a.m., and they’ll continue to bring in students up until the game starts, and then they’ll return to load them back up after the game concludes, around 2 p.m.!

Now, don’t fret about the chaos of kids and buses. Local police will be there to make sure everything runs smoothly, assisting with safely unloading and loading the students.
