City Wide Facility Solutions Donates Over $580,000 to GiGi’s Playhouse

The leading commercial facility management company, City Wide Facility Solutions, has made a considerable donation of over $580,000 to GiGi’s Playhouse while hosting their annual franchise convention in Charleston. Representing industry-leading practices to create a ripple effect in communities through impactful donations, City Wide Facility Solutions’ latest act of generosity will significantly support the work of GiGi’s Playhouse.

Franchisees from more than 100 City Wide franchise locations came together in Charleston to contribute to the great cause. The organization chosen for this year’s donation, GiGi’s Playhouse, was selected by City Wide Facility Solutions of Charleston due to their ongoing partnership and the nonprofit foundation’s laudable work.

“GiGi’s plays an instrumental role in supporting the entire Down Syndrome community, providing much-needed resources for children, adults, and their families. It’s with pride that we stand with the local Charleston community, assured that the funds raised will greatly accelerate GiGi’s efforts to open their Charleston location, marking their first establishment in South Carolina,” said Rick Cobden, the owner of City Wide Facility Solutions of Charleston.

GiGi’s Playhouse’s mission focuses on transforming society’s perception of Down Syndrome. They aim to create an inclusive world where individuals with Down Syndrome are accepted and embraced in their families, schools, and communities. GiGi’s remains committed to their mission through the delivery of free educational, therapeutic-based, and career development programs.

On the occasion, Nancy Gianni, the founder of GiGi’s Playhouse, expressed her gratitude towards City Wide. She said, “The enthusiasm and love we received from franchise owners and the City Wide network for our nonprofit organization were absolutely awe-inspiring. The funds they have generously offered will help us significantly in establishing our first location in South Carolina and enhance support for our kids in Charleston, and beyond. I am enormously inspired to know such corporations like City Wide exist.”

Having established a strong presence in major U.S. cities and Canada, City Wide has successfully streamlined facility solutions for more than 20 interior and exterior services for commercial facilities, including janitorial, disinfecting, handyman services, and parking lot maintenance. They have aided building owners and property management businesses in selection and management processes.
