Charleston Women’s Basketball Announces Exciting Non-Conference Schedule
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women’s basketball team is gearing up for an action-packed 2024-25 season with the announcement of their non-conference schedule by head coach Robin Harmony. The Cougars are set to kick off the season with a series of thrilling matchups that promise to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
Home Opener Against Meredith
The Cougars will start their season at home on November 4, facing off against Meredith in what is sure to be an exciting opener for the team. Following this, Charleston will continue their home stand with games against Robert Morris on November 9 and North Carolina Central on November 13.
First Road Game in New Rochelle, N.Y.
Charleston will hit the road for the first time on November 20, traveling to New Rochelle, N.Y. to take on Iona in what promises to be a challenging matchup for the team. The Cougars will then return home on November 29 to square off against South Alabama, followed by a game against North Dakota State on December 1.
Local Rivalry Against Charleston Southern
On December 4, the Cougars will face off against local foe Charleston Southern in North Charleston, adding an extra layer of excitement to the matchup. This game is sure to be one that fans won’t want to miss.
Alabama Road Trip
Charleston will then travel to Alabama on December 11 to take on Jacksonville State in what promises to be a competitive game for the Cougars. The team will return home to host Appalachian State on December 17 before hitting the road once again to wrap up non-conference play.
Hawk Classic Tournament in Philadelphia
The Cougars will participate in the Hawk Classic Tournament in Philadelphia, Pa., where they will face off against Northwestern on December 20. The team will then take to the court again on December 21, playing either Howard or St. Joseph’s in what is sure to be an exciting matchup to close out their non-conference schedule.
