The city of Charleston will be hosting a grand Summer Wine Festival on Saturday. This sumptuous event will be held at the Charleston Harbor Cruise Terminal, offering locals and visitors an ideal location to enjoy a wide variety of wines, music, and more.
Running from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the festival will feature a plethora of wine options for the enthusiasts. Visitors can look forward to sampling over 50 different wines. A selection of beers will also be available for those looking for an alternative to wine. Adding more appeal to the wine tasting affair, the festival will also be serving mimosas for the guests, ensuring a grand and enjoyable experience for everyone.
The geographically-convenient Charleston Harbor Cruise Terminal promises a full afternoon of fun and frolic. Visitors can enjoy the event within the comfort of air-conditioned indoor spaces or step out to enjoy the view from the spacious waterside patio. Besides the exquisite spread of wines, attendees can revel in the entertainment provided by a DJ and live music performances.
For those keen on participating in the festival, tickets can be purchased at $65 each. Event organizers have clearly stated that the event is strictly for those aged 21 and above. In order to ensure a seamless experience for all, no kids, babies, or pets will be allowed at the festival. Moreover, outside food or beverages will not be permitted at the event.
Participants are reminded that the festival is a rain-or-shine event, which means no refunds will be provided under any circumstances. Therefore, guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, regardless of outdoor conditions, ensuring overall comfort during the festival.
It should also be noted that alcoholic beverages will only be served until 6:45 p.m. The event organizers hold the right to discontinue alcohol service if they feel that any attendee has consumed excessively. In order to prioritize attendee safety, participants are strongly advised to plan ahead for safe transportation. Arranging for an Uber or Lyft ride is recommended. Also, free bottled water will be available throughout the event, but there won’t be any designated driver tickets on offer.
As an event committed to responsible enjoyment, the Charleston Summer Wine Festival emphasizes the importance of safe and controlled consumption of alcohol. Participants are thus requested to be aware and considerate, ensuring they enjoy the festival responsibly.
