CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston head men’s basketball coach Chris Mack has announced the hiring of Ryan Witthoff as the program’s Director of Creative Content. In his role, Witthoff will be responsible for the program’s photography, videography, and graphic design efforts. He will also assist the staff in recruiting and brand development.
“I’m excited to announce Ryan Witthoff as Director of Creative Content on our staff. Ryan combines an insane passion for sports with a talent that very few can match. He is sharp, innovative and knows how to tell a story through anything digital,” said Mack. “Charleston fans are going to enjoy his behind the scenes portrayal of our program. Ryan’s imprint on recruiting will help our program immensely. He’s a huge addition to what we are doing.”
Witthoff spent the 2023-2024 season with Arkansas men’s basketball as the Creative Coordinator. Prior to working with the Razorbacks, he worked with Florida State men’s basketball in the same capacity as an undergraduate and graduate student. He graduated from Florida State in 2022 with a bachelor’s of sport management and is working toward his master’s of sport management at his alma mater.
With Witthoff’s expertise and experience in creative content, the College of Charleston men’s basketball program is set to receive a significant boost in its branding and storytelling efforts. His ability to capture compelling visuals and craft engaging narratives through digital media will enhance the program’s overall image and appeal to a wider audience.
