From thought-provoking discussions to book signings, there’s something for everyone.

Kickstarting the festival on November 1, renowned Irish author Paul Murray will discuss his book, “The Bee Sting,” which delves into the profound struggles of adolescence against the backdrop of climate change. It’s set to be an engaging conversation at 5 p.m.,, and tickets are available for just $30.

On November 2, join award-winning journalist Michele Norris, as she shares insights from her national project on race and identity, titled “Our Hidden Conversations.” It’s surely going to be an enlightening experience for those who attend. And for theater lovers, be sure not to miss James Shapiro discuss the cultural wars in America regarding theater’s place in society, based on his book “The Playbook,” on the same day.

As the days roll on, David W. Blight will take the stage on November 3 to examine Yale University’s historical involvement with the slave trade in “Yale & Slavery.” And let’s not forget the dynamic discussion featuring poet and activist Nikki Giovanni on November 4, as she reflects on her impactful work in advocacy and literature.

The festival offers a range of discussions that cover topics from feminism and history to personal journeys. For example, on November 7, award-winning science journalist Angela Saini will shed light on patriarchal structures in society and how more egalitarian approaches could lead to better community outcomes.
