Officials in the City of Charleston are currently reviewing the plan for tree removal, clearing of vegetation, and rough grading at the Jack Primus industrial site. The proposed project encompasses 21.39 acres of land and is to take place at 1075 Jack Primus Rd. It is owned by SRE EV Jack Primus LLC and the application for the site plan contains the details.
Renowned company, Seamon, Whiteside & Associates, Inc, well-versed in these types of projects, is representing the application which is currently under examination by the City of Charleston Technical Review Committee. While the Jack Primus proposal is one of the highlighted developments up for review this week, another notable project is being scrutinized. The plans for Parcel K Park Parcels propose a decomposed granite sidewalk and a concrete path on an acre of land at 304 W. Seashell St. Holder Properties 2000 DI, LLC owns the property and also represented by Seamon, Whiteside & Associates, Inc. The committees were notably busy last week as well with the review of several projects. One such project was the Point Hope Townhomes development plan for the proposal of a group of townhomes with 23 buildings and 110 units on 42 acres of land at 1730 Clements Ferry Rd. Another was the Wambaw Creek Warehouse project for a proposed 9,365 square foot office/warehouse located at 2042 Wambaw Creek Rd. The Credit One Pickleball Additions proposal aiming at pickleball court additions with an associated check-in and restroom building and maintenance building relocation at 155 Seven Farms Dr. also got reviewed during this session.
All these projects were taken under active consideration and have been asked to revise and return. In some cases, the requests were made pending responses concerning specific sections such as the delivery of stormwater comments for the Pickleball Additions project.
The continuous projects reviewed and actioned on by City of Charleston’s boards and committees are evidence of the steadily growing industrial and residential sectors of the region.
