Downtown Charleston, a cultural cornerstone known for its historical landmarks and vibrant food scene, is all set to unveil its first haunted house attraction— Holy City Halloween. Scheduled to open its eerie doors on September 27th, 2024, this unique attraction promises to usher in a whole new level of spooky fun for Charleston residents and visitors alike.

Holy City Halloween Steps into Charleston’s Entertainment Scene

Located in the old Meddin Meats Slaughterhouse and Woolfe Street Playhouse building at 34 Woolfe Street, Holy City Halloween stands as downtown Charleston’s only Haunted House attraction. With the mesmerizing blend of thrill and amusement that haunted house experiences offer, the attraction aims to add a unique dimension to the lively entertainment landscape of the city.

This innovative venture is all prepared to make its debut on September 27th, enthralling the Supremacy city folks with its spook-filled delights. The haunted attraction will continue its bewitching run until November 2nd, offering a personalized experience for both families, children, and adults.

Combination of Family-Friendly and Adult Experiences

Committed to making the Holy City Halloween a memorable event for everyone, the organizers have thoughtfully formulated a schedule to cater to different age groups. This allows everyone to partake in the fun, get their adrenaline rushing, and enjoy the thrilling atmosphere of the haunted house:

  • Sunday and Wednesday: Between 5 pm and 7 pm, the venue will cater to families and children aged 10-17, while from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, it will switch gears for the adult crowd (ages 18+).
  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday: Families and children ages 10-17 are invited to enjoy the scares between 5 pm – 7 pm, with the baton passing to the adults from 7:30 pm until midnight.

The separation of timings ensures that youngsters and adults alike can enjoy the experience at their convenience and comfort.
