Starting on Thursday, September 26th, this delicious celebration kicks off with a fantastic event known as the Rice & Peas Party, held at the stylish High Wire Distilling, located at 311 Huger Street. If you’re a food lover or just someone who enjoys a good time, you won’t want to miss this!

What’s Happening at the Rice & Peas Party

From 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, guests will be treated to a delightful evening filled with mouthwatering dishes, refreshing drinks, and uplifting music. Several well-known chefs have come together to create an unforgettable dining experience. Cheetie Kumar, a James Beard Foundation Award-nominated chef from Ajja in Raleigh, NC, will be showcasing her culinary artistry, alongside Rhonda Mitchell of The Drizzled Pear and Bintou N’Daw from Bintü Atelier.

What’s On the Menu?

While we don’t have the exact menu yet, you can expect a flavorful assortment that embodies the spirit of Southern cuisine and beyond! Grab your friends and come hungry because these talented chefs are ready to impress. Along with the great food, guests will also have the chance to sip on exquisite wines. Say cheers to Miles White and Femi Oyediran from Graft Wine Shop, who will be pouring delightful selections from Marine Layer wines.
