Meet the Finalists for Police Chief

former Police Chief Greg Gomes. They’ve narrowed it down to six finalists out of 34 applicants, which is an impressive feat. These talented individuals include two current officers from North Charleston Police and one from the Charleston Police Department.

The finalists will be put through their paces today in front of a 10-person panel for final interviews. This decision-making process will be overseen by North Charleston Mayor Reggie Burgess, who has experience in the role himself.
