Charleston has some exciting news on the horizon! East Coast Warehouse & Distribution is making its grand entrance into the South Carolina market with a brand-new facility right here in our charming city. This move is creating 52 jobs, and we couldn’t be happier about the positive impact this will have on our community and local economy.
A New Home for Temperature-Controlled Logistics
According to a recent press release, East Coast Warehouse & Distribution has decided to invest a whopping $14.5 million into their Charleston operations, marking this facility as their first in the state. Located at 2015 Tellico Road, the property is conveniently situated just a mile and a half from the SC Ports Hugh K. Leatherman Sr. Terminal. This puts the company in the perfect spot to provide essential logistics services tailored to temperature-sensitive products.
The facility will span a massive 259,000 square feet and will be built on 17.6 acres. It’s fantastic to see such a large-scale operation coming to our city! Additionally, there will be nine acres dedicated to parking and storage for trailers and containers—making it a significant hub for logistics.

East Coast Warehouse & Distribution specializes in temperature-controlled logistics across a wide range of locations, including New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Savannah. This new facility will enhance their operations and help better serve food and beverage shippers, among others. The strategic location will undoubtedly provide brands with direct access to the Port of Charleston and the rapidly growing Southeast consumer market.
