In the pursuit of quality above everything, Allegiance employs around 60 people who churn out almost 1,000 American flags every day. These flags, hand-sewn by South Carolina inhabitants, are then distributed to proud customers across all 50 states. Lyon asserted that the high quality and patriotic prioritization of their flags set them squarely apart from their competition. Allegiance flags are created using premium first-run nylon and meticulous stitching practices to ensure longevity and durability.
Supporting Domestic Growth
In an era where many companies outsource for cheaper labor and materials overseas, Allegiance Flag Supply sets a distinctive example by staying true to its local workforce. Recently, the company relocated to a spacious 24,000 square foot facility located on Southrail Road in North Charleston, to cater to its growing manufacturing and distribution operations. Berry communicated how they are ‘planting their feet’ right at home, with the new $6.3 million premises helping the company double its workforce and create new job avenues for the local population. An investment welcomed by South Carolina’s Governor Henry McMaster, who took pride in Allegiance’s expansion and the community-boosting benefits it brings.
As the company grows, Berry stated, new employment opportunities emerge, including roles as seamstresses and sewers in addition to various key positions in packaging, marketing, product development, and human resources. Excited and eager to continue their growth rooted in Charleston, Allegiance plans to hire more talent, ramp up their production and continue to churn out high-quality American flags that represent more than just the country – they embody the local community, its workers, and their dedication.
