Charleston College Baseball Takes on South Carolina in Fall Exhibition at The Joe

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Excitement is brewing in Charleston as the College of Charleston baseball team gears up to face off against South Carolina in a highly anticipated fall exhibition game at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

New Location, Same Intensity

The upcoming exhibition, slated for November 7, will see the Cougars and Gamecocks battle it out in two seven-inning contests at The Joe, home of the Tampa Bay Rays Single-A affiliate Charleston RiverDogs. The action-packed evening will kick off at 6 p.m., with the College of Charleston occupying the third base dugout and South Carolina claiming the first base side.

Anticipation Builds

College of Charleston head coach Chad Holbrook expressed the team’s enthusiasm for the upcoming matchup, stating, “Our players are so excited to be playing South Carolina this fall at The Joe on Nov. 7. It promises to be a great atmosphere, showcasing the best of college baseball. I’m sure both the Gamecock and Cougar fans will make this one fun night! Thanks so much to Coach Maneiri for bringing his first team down to the Lowcountry!”
