Charleston Christmas Special Promises Holiday Magic with Star-Studded Performers

Excitement Builds for the Charleston Christmas Special

Charleston is gearing up for one of the most beloved holiday traditions in town! The Charleston Christmas Special, produced by the wonderful Moranz Entertainment, is set to dazzle audiences from December 12 to December 22 at the Charleston Music Hall. That’s right! From a new lineup of talented performers to classic songs and captivating sketches, this year promises to be a spectacular celebration of the season.

The Show of the Year

As fans of this annual event already know, it has become a cherished tradition for countless families. Brad and Jennifer Moranz, the creative forces behind the show, are passionate about bringing joy and entertainment to your holiday season. “Each year we bring together holiday classics, new favorites, comedy sketches, and world-class talent for a brand-new show,” explains Brad Moranz. This marks their 29th season, and they are working hard to make it the best one yet!

A Star-Studded Cast

Get ready to be blown away by a talented cast of more than 20 professional singers, dancers, and musicians! Many familiar faces will take to the stage again. For instance, Matthew Billman is back to perform his incredible show-stopping rendition of David Phelps’ song, End of the Beginning, while the charismatic Matt Shingledecker will bring his own flair with a performance of Mary Did You Know? by Jordan Smith.

This year, there’s even more to look forward to. Joining the cast for the first time is Winston Daniels from Texas, who will serenade the audience with his versions of This Christmas and Dig That Crazy Santa Claus. And we can’t forget about the fabulous Kelsey Denae, fresh off the national tour of Les Miserables. She is set to wow audiences with her take on You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch, arranged by the talented Lindsay Stirling.

Familiar Faces Bring Holiday Cheer

Returning favorites Tiffany Parker and Jenna Flaherty are also ready to get everyone in the festive spirit. Parker will bring a taste of country Christmas with her performances of Cool Yule and Go Tell It On The Mountain, while Flaherty will deliver an unforgettable version of Hallelujah.

This year, the production is designed to keep audiences on their toes with a blend of beloved holiday classics along with some unexpected surprises. For instance, audiences can expect an exciting collaboration as the talented men in the cast perform a magical take on The Lord’s Prayer by Il Divo. Plus, Parker and Denae will join forces for a catchy pop rendition of Put a Little Holiday In Your Heart and a spirited rendition of There Is a Santa Claus from Elf: The Musical.

Comedy and Merriment

No holiday show would be complete without the hilarious antics of Brad and Jennifer Moranz. As the husband-and-wife duo behind the production, they inject a delightful dose of humor into the festivities, ensuring that everyone leaves with a smile.
