When you spend $75 or more in-store, you’ll receive a exclusive gift to commemorate this exciting milestone. But that’s not all! You’ll also get an early peek at their new four-wick seasonal candle line before it officially launches on Monday, October 21. Talk about being ahead of the game!

Meet the Makers

The heart of Charleston Candle Co. is the amazing team behind it—husband and wife duo, Chaz and Kristen Schwiers. This lovely couple has turned a simple hobby into a thriving business that locals and visitors adore. Fun fact: Chaz is a proud graduate of the College of Charleston, rooting for the Cougars when he isn’t mixing up new candle scents!

It all began back in the summer of 2016 when Kristen started making candles for fun right in their apartment kitchen. What started as a casual pastime turned into a delightful discovery of scents inspired by our gorgeous Charleston surroundings. Their small Etsy shop quickly grew, and now they proudly operate a cozy shop on St. Phillip Street, where creativity flows and the smells are heavenly!

A Day to Remember

Speaking of creativity, this local shop not only sells ready-made candles, but they also offer a hands-on experience for those looking to dive deeper into the candle-making world. A few weeks ago, our team had the pleasure of attending a candle-making class at their shop, and let me tell you, it was a blast! We got to choose and mix our favorite scents to create custom candles, adding a personal touch to each one. I went with a musky and woody scent for one and a festive Christmas scent for the other. The hardest part? It was definitely naming our creations!
