The property was quoted as being a rare opportunity in an established neighborhood with high earning households and constant traffic. Hanging up the apron representing Laura Alberts, Karen Elsey was acknowledged by the seller’s agent for her extensive contributions to the food and beverage scene in Daniel Island and the greater Charleston community.
John Haire’s Tribute to his Grandfather
The name “Heavy” serves as a tribute to the establishment’s founder, John Haire’s grandfather. The nickname was given by his family and friends in his hometown in northwest Florida.
