Michael O’Connor, the Air Operations Director of Charleston Airshow, declared that they had brought in over 45 static aircraft and 25 performer aircraft for this weekend’s event. The United States Air Force Thunderbirds performance, a major attraction of the airshow, unfortunately suffered a curtailment due to weather constraints on Sunday, but nonetheless spellbound the spectators with their skillful maneuvers. A matrimonial mesh of both military and civilian aircraft offered varied performances, embellishing the sky with their spectacular aerobatics. Furthermore, attendees were offered a thrilling driving experience by Precision Exotics, with options including vehicles from premium brands like Lamborghini, Ferrari, and McLaren.

O’Connor fondly recalled how he was once inspired at such an event under the wing of a C-17, which eventually led him to become a C-17 pilot. Huntor Ross, a member of the South Carolina Army National Guard, echoed these sentiments, underscoring the value of these community outreach programs.
