Breeze Airways has taken a step further in the airline industry by launching a new flight service connecting Charleston, South Carolina, and Manchester, New Hampshire’s Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
This seasonal service commenced its operations on June 17, 2024, with flights scheduled every Monday and Friday. The new service is aimed at catering to the increasing travel demand and offering greater flexibility and convenience to travelers.
The President of Breeze Airways, Tom Doxey, expressed his exhilaration over this significant alliance, “As we continue to grow from Charleston, we are happy to be connecting our Guests in the Lowcountry with more great travel options with Breeze’s premium product. We see, and have seen more opportunities for growth from CHS and we look forward to bringing more destinations with Breeze’s added affordability, convenience and ease.”
Keeping in line with its commitment to add value to the customers’ flying experience, Breeze Airways offers a mix of bundled and a la carte services. These services are categorized into three types: Nice, Nicer, and Nicest package on flights operated on the Airbus A220-300.
The Nicer bundle includes a checked bag and carry-on, along with a premium economy seat in its “extra legroom” section. The Nicest bundle takes the offering a notch up by including two checked bags, priority boarding, and Breeze Ascent; this aligns with the carrier’s inflight experience that incorporates 2×2 recliner seating, free snacks, and beverages including alcohol.
The new service is not just an addition to travel convenience but also significantly contributes to local economic development. Air connectivity enhances tourism and business opportunities which result in job creation and boost the overall local economy.
The airline industry’s robust resurgence has been a boon to Charleston residents, significantly contributing to the economy. The impressive revival of the industry post-pandemic has opened avenues for further growth and opportunities in the aviation sector and beyond.
As we enter an era where sectors across the globe are strategizing their rebound, decisions like those made by Breeze Airways brings a fresh gust of positivity. Such initiatives create a domino effect, promoting further growth and encouragement within the industry.
In the words of Jason Thomas, “As we embrace this new change, we look forward to continued growth and the ability to offer more travel options that combine affordability, convenience, and comfort. This is yet another milestone in our journey and we are optimistic about the positive impact this will have on the local and global economy.”
