For the first time ever, the global fitness studio, Barry’s, is now stepping into the South Carolina market. The new fitness addition is expected to host its grand opening in a downtown Charleston location by the end of 2024, according to a recent news release.

Welcome to Morrison Yard

Its South Carolina debut will be hosted at Morrison Yard. Commercial real estate developer, Hill Partners Inc. from Charlotte, facilitated the lease agreement for Barry’s 4,072-square-foot studio space at Morrison Yard. Morrison Yard is a master-planned mixed-use development project on Charleston’s Upper Peninsula, constructed by Woodfield Development.

Robert H. Spratt Jr., president of Hill Partners Inc., stated, “Barry’s is the perfect addition to our merchandising plan for Morrison Yard.” He added that their commitment to premier health and fitness options, upscale dining, and beauty services will be fortified by the addition of this new and market-exclusive tenant.

Barry’s Offers a Unique Fitness Experience

Barry’s unique offering at Morrison Yard will include its signature Red Room. Characterized by dim red lights, the Red Room houses a booming sound system with playlists curated by top-tier instructors, antimicrobial rubberized flooring, weights, bands, benches and state-of-the-art Woodway treadmills.

Apart from the Red Room, Barry’s will also offer a Fuel Bar for pre-and post-workout shakes, and locker rooms stocked with premium amenities like Dyson hair dryers and OUAI’s best-selling products. This facilities are put in place to offer maximum comfort for every fitness enthusiast that steps through their doors.
