From October 10th to October 12th, the Charleston Friends of the Library will be hosting this exciting event where locals can browse through hundreds of gently used books. You’ll find a diverse selection, including Children’s literature, Young Adult novels, Non-Fiction, Fiction, History, Mystery/Thrillers, Biographies, Art books, and, of course, an extensive range of Cookbooks.
Leah Donaldson, the Executive Director of Charleston Friends of the Library, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, saying, “We are proud to support the many After School programs offered to students throughout Charleston County. We are truly grateful to all our FRIENDS for supporting our book sales and our library.” Isn’t it wonderful when our love for reading can also help support community programs?

The Fall Book Sale kicks off with a special members night on October 10th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.. This gives library members a chance to get first dibs on some fantastic finds! And if you’re not a member yet, don’t worry – you can still join on the spot!
The sale will continue the next day on October 11th, running from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on October 12th, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.. With prices starting as low as $1 for paperbacks and $4 for hardbacks, it’s a reader’s paradise. You can truly bulk up your personal library without breaking the bank!
