Winter Woes: Charleston Prepares for Chilly Nights Ahead
CHARLESTON, S.C. – As the temperature is set to take a nosedive into the lower 30s this week, residents are feeling the bite of winter. To help those in need of a warm refuge, several local shelters will be stepping up to provide comfort and warmth during these frigid nights. So, if you or someone you know could use a cozy place to escape the cold, read on!
The Forecast: Brace Yourself!
According to our trusty Storm Team 2, temperatures will likely plummet into the 30s overnight tonight and keep falling into the 20s through midday Wednesday. That kind of cold can be pretty tough, especially for those without a warm place to stay. Fortunately, the Lowcountry is coming together to help out our neighbors in need.
