Once everything is signed on the tablet, the forms will be sent back straight into the CCSO system for processing. This nifty new system is all about efficiency. Thanks to a great initiative by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), who provided a grant enabling agencies across the state to receive one tablet at no cost, it made this upgrade possible. And guess what? The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office decided to purchase an additional four tablets for a reasonable total of just $2,000.56.
